I guess most of you will agree when I say, sudden trips are better than planned. Right?
First, it was just a foodtrip between me and my bff and her brother (it’s his birthday actually). We tried inviting some of our friends/officemates (without expecting a full-pledge YES), some said “We’ll see!”, others used the famous line “Sunod kami!” ^_^
Good thing, they all arrived at our meeting place. So how does a sudden food trip goes?
The Yard at Xavierville
We’ve chosen The Yard in Xavierville as our first stop. This place resembles the well-known StrEat Food Park at Maginhawa Street, except that The Yard has more food stalls (around 30+) compared to StrEat but has limited space.
Mikay’s Tip :
It’s not easy to spot a place for you and your barkada especially on weekends. My suggestion is to assign one member at every corner as lookout 😉
- Dip n’ Dough (for Jom)
- El Chapo’s
- Mac n’ Chicks
- Black Plate

Cloud 9 Overlooking at Antipolo City
Have you seen the movie Paper Towns? Remember the scene where Margo uttered the line below when she describes the city in an overlooking view.
“Here’s what’s not beautiful about it: from here, you can’t see the rust or the cracked paint or whatever, but you can tell what the place really is. You can see how fake it all is. It’s not even hard enough to be made out of plastic. It’s a paper town.”
