#JxMtoPuerto – Puerto Princesa Tour

“A journey is best measured in friends, rather than miles.” – Tim Cahill

Travel with your bestfriend, let’s crossed that out on my bucket list. Jelly and I, for almost 3 years of friendship, never had the chance to travel out of town, together. Thank you Air Asia for the Red Hot Sale and we were able to book our trip to Puerto Princesa, Palawan.

This is going to be a long weekend (3 days and 2 nights) getaway with my BFF at the City of Puerto Princesa. Maybe you’re wondering why we have not included Coron or El Nido in our trip, well, aside from we’re only allowed to take our vacation leave for 3 days, Coron and El Nido were reserved for special travels 😉

For our #JxMToPuerto tours and accommodation, special thanks also to Miss Diane Gamboa and Cendelyn Valdez from RideNGo for arranging everything and for the fast transaction.

Below, I’ll be sharing our #JxMtoPuerto experience 🙂

Where Did We Stay?

We chose to stay at Palawan Uno Hotel located at the City of Palawan. The red plus gold theme welcomed us at the lobby of the hotel. Palawan Uno is affordable yet a good place to stay in Puerto Princesa. They have pool and restaurant that serves budget-friendly meals.

You may checkout their available rooms and rates here.

What did we do?

Our itinerary is a bit spoiled (meaning, it’s not a D-I-Y type) because RideNGo setup everything that we need for this tour.

Day 01 : Drop at our hotel then proceed to Puerto Princesa Underground River. My camera wasn’t able to capture good photos of what’s inside the cave but seriously it’s majestic.

Day 02 : Honday Bay Island Hopping tour with lunch is up for today. Ever since the news about a tourist who died due to stone fish or sea urchin emerged, the city government of Palawan became strict in implementing the mandatory use of diving shoes to every tourist. This is worth 100 Php.

Cowrie Island

Luli Island

Starfish Island

Day 03 : City Tour and souvenir buying for our last day in Puerto Princesa. This is a half day activity since our flight is scheduled after lunch.

Immaculate Concepcion Cathedral

Bakers Hill

Rancho Mitra

Crocodile Farm

What’s the best pasalubong from Puerto Princesa? Well we hoarded the famous Hopia in Bakers Hill and bought some pearl earrings. Thank you City of Puerto Princesa, can’t wait to explore Coron and El Nido!!!
